$60,000 Bail for South Boston Man Arraigned on Drug, Gun Charges
BOSTON, June 29, 2022 — A South Boston man was ordered held on $60,000 bail after police found large quantities of drugs and guns in his home and car following a series of undercover buys, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden announced.
ROGER GRAHAM, 40, was arrested on June 22 after selling drugs to an undercover police officer on three occasions. Following the purchases, which took place at 75 Old Colony Ave in South Boston, police executed a search warrant of Graham’s home and vehicle.
In Graham’s home, detectives found 135 grams of crack cocaine, 31 grams of fentanyl and 28 grams of methamphetamines as well as two guns, a large quantity of ammunition and multiple large capacity feeding devices. In Graham’s car, police found a backpack containing more fentanyl and crack cocaine, plus Adderall pills and cannabis edibles.
Graham was charged with trafficking over 100 grams of cocaine, 18 to 36 grams of fentanyl, and 18 to 36 grams of methamphetamine plus numerous gun and ammunition offenses.
“The quantities of drugs present here, along with the guns and the ammunition, point to an operation that presented a significant danger to our neighborhoods and to our society, even if it was a one-man operation,” Hayden said.
At Graham’s June 23 arraignment at the South Boston Division of Boston Municipal Court, Judge Pamela Dashiell ordered $60,000 bail and set conditions of release including GPS tracking, a curfew of 7 pm to 7 am, stay away from his distribution locations, drug evaluations and treatment as necessary, and remain in Massachusetts during the pendency of the case.
Graham returns to court July 21 for a probable cause hearing. He is represented by Michael Sheehan.
