Assistant District Attorney Kate Fraiman said that on November 2 at about 11:15 p.m. Boston police responded to Hanover Street, where two owners of a convenience store told them that while they were taking out trash from the store they had been attacked and robbed by two men. The attackers punched and kicked one victim, a female, in the head. They punched the other victim, a male, and ripped a chain valued at $2,600 from around his neck. The female victim was transported to Massachusetts Hospital for head injuries.
An investigation including video surveillance footage and descriptions by the victims helped police identify Allen as one of the attackers. The second suspect has not been identified.
