Statement of District Attorney Kevin Hayden on the Confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson

BOSTON, April 7, 2022— The confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the highest court in the United States is an incredible honor and joy to witness.  The confirmation of the first Black woman to serve as a Supreme Court justice is a historic moment for all of America.  I’m grateful to the members of the Senate who voted to confirm based on her extensive experience and inarguable qualifications.  Equitable representation within our legal system should never be a partisan issue.
